In the pickin' and grinnin' comment section. So I am a pondering.....ARE sellers obligated to help their buyers resell used Goods??? JUST asking?? I was asked once to spam my mailing list on a resell, I didnt mind BUT problem was, I didnt have a mailing list. so I spammed my family who thought I was bragging that someone was reselling one of my dresses. DESIGNERS is this a new unwritten spamming rule?? and personally see nothing wrong with it.

Did you know that a certain BIG ORIGINAL twirl skirt designer is no longer spamming her relists for customers? She used to do this all the time, not anymore.
She has been asked by several of buyers of hers to spam their auctions more than once. She has not helped one bit, and one of them is a HUGE buyer of hers.
Is this the new norm of designers, is it or is it not in their best interest to help spam their buyers sets?
Doesn't it help all of them, I know for a fact she has lost the respect of one and the money of another.

For alot of years Like close to ten. I traveled with the spring and autumn festivals, 9 weeks a year. We traveled with 499 other gypsies, several musical groups, and a ventriloquist. It was during this time I really got an appreciation for bluegrass music, since part of the entertainment was a Bluegrass group. During show hours (12 hours a day) My son Evan would sit and listen to the blue grass. One year a banjo was at the top of his Christmas list, the next year a ventriloquist doll. We got him the doll BUT I sold it on ebay. Waking up at night to a lifesize doll staring at you freaks out even the most bravest of BOYs!!

Designer Chat with Heather Niziolek, Daisy-Head-Maisy.
Heather is known for her fun and fantastic custom tutus here on Ebay.
What is your favorite thing that you have done for the holiday season?
We always try to take a trip as a family to Brookfield Zoo in Chicago for their Holiday Lights Festival~it is a blast! There are little white lights EVERYWHERE and it’s cool to be in the zoo at night time and check out the animals that are usually sleeping during the regular zoo hours. We’ve been doing this since my husband and I were dating-so this year will be our 18th year doing it! ~we used to bring my brothers when they were young but now we bring our own children and it’s been fun to come back each year and enjoy the night with them.
How would you describe your style?
My tag line is “get your fun on” if it’s not fun, I don’t make it! LOL!
What do you think about the ebay boutique community?
I think it is this whole amazing “underground” community that outsiders don’t even know exists! I remember first discovering it a couple of years ago and was amazed at how much of a whole “culture” it is! I adore 99.9% of the people that I’ve met and would not ever consider leaving!
How has the boutique world changed your business?
Most of my business is centered right here in the ebay boutique community~and I am so grateful for all of my wonderful customers~and I’ve become friends with so many of them. I can honestly say I have a following now and I feel so blessed because of that. If ebay disappeared tomorrow, my business would all but disappear as well. The heart of my business I believe will always come through the ebay boutique community.
Tell us about the Wounded Warriors fund and your brother Will?
Since the end of June, Daisy-Head-Maisy has donated over $400 to an awesome foundation called Wounded Warriors. I am doing this on my own (and not through ebay) but I donate 10% of all my ebay sales and occasionally throw in more to this great organization that helps wounded marines. This organization provides vacations to marines and their families (or survivors) to cool places like Disney World~and I can’t say enough good things about them. It is run by Colonel Folsom, a true American hero. You can check out their site at http://www.woundedwarrirors.org/
In June, one of my two brothers who are United States Marines were seriously wounded in combat in Iraq. His name is Will and he is 23 years old. He has come to live with our family while he is recovering it is a miracle that he is even with us at all and each day it is such a HUGE blessing to watch him make strides and recover from his injuries. It has been a really long haul for him and he is still facing some seriousl challenges but we are very proud of him and have received so much prayer support and friendship from our friends in the ebay boutique community. Thanks to all of you that email and ask how he’s doing!

Who inspires the way you dressed?
Very hard to believe this song is 41 years old. I was very young when Janis Joplin died, but grew up listening to Pearl. She was one of my biggest Fashion Influences in high school. Plus one of my favorite musicians. How does one release their inner Janis? I would go to estate sales buy and embellish , remake clothing worn in the 30's and 40's. Shoulder pads, suit coats. Big earrings, lace, gaudy costume jewelry, fur coats. Crushed velvet. Yeah all that. Not so much dressing just like her but being like her, making a statement. Releasing my inner Janis. (which BTW didn't come without it's drawbacks. Do creative teens ever fit in??) I never cared. I still don't...Janis was a unique individual and one of a kind!

I had this dream......
I had an outdoor show to do on Saturday North of where I live. 28 degrees is NOT outdoor show weather BRRRR!!!! so we opted out. Had a Taco salad at an authentic Mexican eatery on Saturday night. Is the meat supposed to be PINK?? and soft and chewey . ((shudder)). BY 1pm on Sunday MY stomach was in burning pain. I laid down at 1pm woke up at 6 had some mashed potatoes fell back to sleep in the recliner at 7pm woke up at 2 am switched recliners to read the paper fell asleep in the other one and I dreamed. MY uncle called a meeting in our back yard of all the cartoon characters. I was looking out my window and saw a playpen in the backyard at midnight, with a baby in it. I went out to find out what was going on and Bambi came out of the trees, with a few female cartoon characters... Old Mother hubbard had left the baby there for me to watch while they went off with my uncle (who looks like santa clause) to do good. As I walked into the house they gathered. The last thing I remember was calling my uncle to ask him if he forgot about the meeting. He was tired BUT signed he would be over soon. Couldnt pass up a chance to do good.....My husband woke me up (still sleeping in chair)and said Go to bed(4 am) I left a note for my son to wake me at 7 am. Which he did, but I went back to sleep. I am just getting awake. stomach ache gone, so is the weekend, and NO sign of the cartoon character rally that was held in my back yard.

On the Mend By Loralie Designs
We saw this last spring at Quilt Market. But I thought this week would be a good time to show it. Could be old news to many of you. The line of fabrics is called "Soft images of a hard experience"
the prints include "Sew many Ladies" "Hearts to you" and "On the mend panel" The fabric is easily found doing an internet search.
Part of the proceeds are donated to Breast Cancer research.
