I think is very important to read and I KNOW there will be many people who disagree with it ...I was urged to go to a chiropractor when I hurt my neck and shoulder last Winter. I never did, I am afraid of them. My Friend lost her 38 yr old healthy sister
to a simple neck adjustment in the chiro's office. I think knowing more about how things work and the risks involved are important

One of my "manni" stories.......
I was driving to a show in Southern Minnesota. I was traveling one of the 4 lane highways with many semi truck drivers. I had my manni laying inside the box of my truck/ with a topper on it.
She was covered by a blanket but her feet were sticking out of the end of the blanket. It looked like I was moving a dead body across state lines. One semi truck followed us for many miles, not long after he passed us we were pulled over by State patrol and my pickup was searched. That of course wasnt as funny as when the girl, at the drive thru, handing us our food, glanced in the back window, and got a blank stare from the manni in the back seat......she screamed and dropped our food. LOL Oh there are so many more memories.......good times me and my manni's.

I am just wondering...... as I peruse a few auctions this evening...
have you ever run across an auction and you say to yourself....IS this a joke?
You wonder what was this person thinking when they completed this . I wonder sometimes if some of us have on our rose colored glasses, if we are encouraged to sell by well meaning family, who cant tell you your sewing skills are lacking, You can't draw a stick person,let alone paint one or ..the muddy tie dye...I guess you can tell what I look at..The appliqued edges, where the thread doesn't match. The mismatched colors and textures. AND the revered ... unsecured frayed edges on everything!! you know won't make it in the wash.
Just to to push the edgy card...some people come up with
strangest concoctions known to the history of design. What happened to the clown set with the pipe cleaner hair? Would you love to see a Monster gallery? The scariest sets known to the boutique community??

of course some are better at that skill than others.
The word *designer* is more commonly associated with the big names in fashion, not a bunch of stayathomemoms who borrow an idea from here, and another idea from there, and may or may not be earning good money part time on ebay.
When I first heard ebay boutique sellers calling themselves designers I laughed so much I nearly peed myself.
Our mothers and mother's mothers were designing their childrens clothing long before us......

.....they called it being a mom.

The designers back there were called Mario Fortuny and Coco Chanel. Today they are marc jacobs and bebe....not rufflebowtwirl_boutique.
