Well it took about a year for some new nastiness to reach the blog.
Let the boycotts begin, I always say. Or should I say here we go again.
Here is the deal. This blog has been without moderation since I brought it back,
We have had at least a year free of this bullshit drama. But it rears it's ugly head once again. To those of you who may be at the center of this, I apologize I didn't know this was going on. I got a phone call and an email. Designer X (me) is usually in Lala land. Designer Y has been hard at work looking for cute things to showcase and blog about. I am turning the moderation back on, will read the comments before they are published until people can behave. Contrary to what you have called it, it is not a gossip ring and to those of you who don't want to be featured on here. That's fine. It gives us the motivation to look for others to showcase.
One last thing, when this Drama gets brought out on this blog, it has to have been discussed in private in other places. It never starts here, it just ends up here. Lucky us!(sarcasm) The sad thing is that these attacks typically come from within the groups or from "Friends" We didn't start it You did.

Oh my gosh Designer X, sorry you're going through this, it's really insane.
Your blog did nothing to bring drama about, obviously it was already brewing just under the surface. I think someone mentioned there is a yahoo board that discusses dishonest sellers. Why is it everyone else's fault when truth comes to light, except the party that does wrong?
It will be great to see a variety of designers featured instead of the same old, same old that every other blog features so I look forward to see who you'll be featuring on your blog in the upcoming days and I remain a fan of your site.
Me too I am a fan of Designer Y! You are doing great job.
Yeah...what X said ;)
Designer Y
I agree, not Designer X's or Y's fault. I have no idea about a Yahoo board but what was discussed was "brewing" for a while. Hopefully all the people who did nothing wrong, especially Designer X and Y are not wrongly blamed for comments they themselves did not post or encourage.
I'm sorry this ended up here too. But, honestly & referring to the first post. This was far from the truth & certainly did not start with friends. Just as in the real world, there are some sweet people that will mind their own business & those that love the drama & gossip. I admire you for trying to put a stop to it here. Thanks so much for that.
I agree that more people in the boutique world should perhaps mind their own business, however when it's BUYERS that are upset because they find out they've been HAD for some time, I guess it really is their business, however I do not see how any of that becomes the fault of this blog or the blog owner.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Be careful of those you befriend as they may actually be the nail in your coffin.
This is what happens when people have to much time in their hands! It is sad that instead of appreciating the fact that someone is advertising you for free, it is repayed by those who, one are mad cause they didn't come up with it two-menopause? three-those who always had problems since highschool.
four, those who can't spell
