I watched Midnight Cowboy the other night with my son. I had never seen it. Made in 1969, a young Jon Voight ( you can really see the family resemblance in his new grandaughter) and Dustin Hoffman. Watching the credits I saw the name Fred Neil. Reminded me of this song, also by Fred Neil. I had to listen to it again. Love this song. It was written in 1964.....It really has that "hippie, woodstock, acid trip, sound"....and as I listen to it I am wondering what the heck is this song about?
Upon further investigation I found out that the song is just about Dolphins....He just liked Dolphins.... who knew?
