We have to get back to it. Does it surprise ANYONE that people who are left out, kicked out, or
leave a group due to problems are going to have "a beef" When they see their former group mates go on to form other groups, they wont feel a twinge of rejection all over again. Or a twinge of annoyance they were left out. After all weren't they all friends?? That these people MIGHT even leave a negative comment or two when the group is mentioned. The high school shenanigans don't start here. They start long before. The hurt, jealous, and annoyed feelings come out here. As much as you would like to call the comments on this blog HIGH school. This isn't high school. The least you can do is take responsibility for the reason the comments are here in the first place. Read the comments carefully you will see the messages. As I have said MANY times. I am not the reason for problems in your group.

When I first started I wrote about every group, Now several groups and sellers have asked that I do not now or ever mention them...Leaving me with less and less to post about on the blog. The comments are exactly the same as they have always been. If the blog has changed, it is you that has changed it.

a question for BUYERS!!
I have a question for buyers regarding shipping insurance. Would you rather have the buyers increase their S&H amount by $1.30 (or more if auction is over $100) to include insurance, or leave insurance as optional to the buyer? Or, the seller could check the box that will make insurance mandatory, and will add the appropriate amount when buyer goes to pay. However if a buyer doesn't read the auction carefully they might not realize this extra cost until after the auction ends, and I'd hate to tick anyone off.
As a seller, I've always left this optional because buyers might not want the inflated S&H. I do say that I won't be responsible for lost packages because I want to discourage any scammers. However if a package actually got lost I would definitely replace the item, unless for some reason I was SURE that it was a scammer. (There is that scammer out there that was discussed here not long ago--she tried to scam one of my friends that way, by saying she never got the package. Unfortunately those types of people are out there.)

A buyer vents.......
Where is my custom.???? It is going on 2 months now. When I check on the buyer, she is always on her blog. Or commenting on one of her friends blogs

I have often wondered is there rivalry within groups? E.g.there maybe someone who does sets,totes,bows,shoes etc...what happens when one member repeatedly gets high dollar for their items and the others don't,particularly the accessories sellers. Why oh why can't we all act like we do in real life?? There are so many posts lately about mods, shilling, copycats..blah blah blah! Why can't people just get over it and stop whining and crying about the boutique world on ebay?? It's so not what real life is about. I'm sure that 99% of these women don't act the way they "type" in their real lives. If everyone would just stop griping, complaining, and talking mean..they could get a lot of productive work done. Just do your thing, do your best, create your best and that should be good enough!! Who cares what so and so is doing or how much $$ they are making!! Act like the wonderful women you are in the real world and life will be so much brighter for everyone!!

The real question I have is what do you do when:
- the pictures are grainy or otherwise cr@p
- they didn't stick to the idea or theme you wanted photographed AT ALL, and
- they can't reshoot because they waited too long to photograph it
- they got a stain or tear on your item
- they don't keep in contact with you
- they keep forgetting to return the outfit
- they say they'll ship to the buyer but it gets sent two weeks after the buyer
has paid?
Keep in mind that all these things happened even though you were very clear with
your instructions before sending the outfit out.
Photographing outfits is hard work so I compensate my models even when their
services are free. However with my last few experiences with free modeling
services I think I'll stick to my manniquin and learn how to take better
pictures myself.

is fairly well-known with lots of friends who would think you are a meanie for
even mentioning it?

As a buyer I am learning more and more things about the EBay boutique world, that has left me appalled. Quite often you see the same ids bidding on things. Then clear out of the blue you will see a non descrip id (low feed back) bid high amounts on some sellers. Should I be suspicious and stay away?
WELLLLLLLL, I just don't know..........what to tell you. I remember seeing some VERY suspicious activity several years regarding some ceramics I was watching. One seller continually sold to another from the same town, not only that their ID's were almost identical. So I turned them in for suspicion of shill bidding. Ebay investigated and found no shilL bidding.

First of all...the undertone is so very personal to each reader. There are MANY comments I read as honest responses, that others read as a personal attack. IF the comment is really MEAN I either don't publish it or if it does get by I remove it the second I am called on it.
Second of all YOU just wrote one the most annoying and HILARIOUS sentences I have ever read. Who are you to say the commenter's here ARE NOT popular?? I don't know who is posting so how can you assume only the unpopular of ebay boutique are here. UGH!!! UNLESS of course you feel that you and your friends are the most popular and you do not comment here.
They were here in the beginning and the nastiness alienated them. The fact that they did show up in the beginning might mean that they want another forum to comment in .
